Technology in the classroom - Cons

1. It is disadvantageous for the students who have no computer in their home. It will be the trouble when they need the computers to do the homework or practice.

2. Computer using is the scary thing for some people, and they may hard to catch the teacher's pace or can not realize the teacher's lecture.

3. It is cost a lot of money and sometimes cost a lot of time and energy of the teachers to design a class toward the technology. Besides, electronic problem should be considered, cause computer system is not available everywhere. The books are sometimes more convenient and cheap.

4. Computers can not replace the teachers, it is only the assistant tool. Teachers are the most important role in the class after all. So teachers should apply computer assistant teaching properly.

5. It's harmful for the eyes to stare on the computer for a long time.

About TOEFL iBT

I'd like to talk my experience and feeling about attended the TOEFL iBT test. I took the test about 6 months ago. My primary feeling about iBT is about the test time, it takes almost 5 hours, it's made me tired and inconcentrate in the end. Second, iBT test included variety of issues the topics, the range of the test is really broad. So, the test takers need to read a lot of books of different kinds of field to get good grade. Third, although the test time is long, there are aboundant of questions. So, to answer questions fast is also important.

For me, I did not get the good grade, but since I have the experience, I hope I can make the big improvement next time.

Third reflection of CALL

This time, teacher taught us how to download YouTube to the personal computer-using foxy and install the attachment in it, and there is a pattern called videodownload helper. Using videodownload helper, you can download YouTube in your computer. Besides, teacher also told us how to decorate our wikispaces and use voki.
