About TOEFL iBT

I'd like to talk my experience and feeling about attended the TOEFL iBT test. I took the test about 6 months ago. My primary feeling about iBT is about the test time, it takes almost 5 hours, it's made me tired and inconcentrate in the end. Second, iBT test included variety of issues the topics, the range of the test is really broad. So, the test takers need to read a lot of books of different kinds of field to get good grade. Third, although the test time is long, there are aboundant of questions. So, to answer questions fast is also important.

For me, I did not get the good grade, but since I have the experience, I hope I can make the big improvement next time.

Third reflection of CALL

This time, teacher taught us how to download YouTube to the personal computer-using foxy and install the attachment in it, and there is a pattern called videodownload helper. Using videodownload helper, you can download YouTube in your computer. Besides, teacher also told us how to decorate our wikispaces and use voki.

Second reflection of CALL

Teacher has told us a good website: the website of National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology. In this website, we can see many useful PTT made by professors, and, we can see the vedio about situational learning. Teacher also taught us how to put YouTube video and windows media player on PTT, it's really amazing and interesting. Finally, teacher told us a website:vixy.net, it's the website that you can use to tranform the files.

Podcast

A podcast is a collection of digital media files which is distributed over the Internet, for playback on portable media players and personal computers. Like the word "broadcasting", podcasting is like blog, but which audio files are instead. Podcasting's initial appeal was to allow individuals to distribute their own radio-style shows, and the system quickly became used in a wide variety of other ways, including school lessons, conference meeting alerts.... If you want to try podcast, it's requires appropriate software often referred to as podcatching client.
RSS(Really Simple Syndication) is one of it. Moreover, podcast listeners can listen in one of three ways: MP3 player, media player, or with VolP technology by calling to a virtual phone number.

First reflection of CALL

Frankly speaking, this class is not as I think as proviously. But, after takeing this course for three times, I found it is a really useful course. Teacher is not restrain CALL in the serious way, in stead, she teaches us a lot of practical knowledge, such as search on google, building blog, using Fire Fox, YouTube.... They are all impressed and interested me. I really like this course.
